Maintenance of pressure transmitter and precautions in its use

The key points in the use of pressure sensors and the correct installation position of the transmitter in the process piping are related to the measured media, and the following conditions should be taken into account for the best results.

1, the pressure tube should be installed in a small temperature fluctuations;

2, measurement of liquid pressure, the transmitter installation location should avoid the impact of liquid (water hammer phenomenon), lest the sensor excessive pressure damage.

3. Prevents the dross from depositing in the catheter;

4, when measuring liquid pressure, the pressure nozzle should be opened on the side of the flow pipe to avoid sedimentation slag.

5, freezing in winter, the installation of outdoor transmitters must take antifreeze measures to avoid the pressure of the liquid in the mouth of the expansion of icing volume, to the sensor damage.

6, prevent the transmitter from the corrosive or overheating media contact;

7, wiring, the cable through the waterproof Connector (attachment) or winding the pipe and tighten the sealing nut, in case the rainwater through the cable leakage into the transmitter shell.

8, measurement of steam or other high-temperature media, need to add a buffer tube (coil) and other condensers, should not allow the transmitter operating temperature exceeding the limit.

9, when measuring gas pressure, the pressure nozzle should be open at the top of the flow pipe, and the transmitter should also be installed in the upper part of the process piping so that the accumulated liquid is easy to inject into the flow pipeline.
