NIBP is the abbreviation of (automated non-invasive blood pressure), which is an automated non-invasive pressure measurement method. It refers to the use of a special air pump to automatically control the cuff inflation, which can measure the pressure for a certain period of time. It is the most widely used blood pressure monitoring method in ICU and anesthesia.
During use, be sure to select a suitable cuff and measure the blood pressure value. If the deviation is too large, check that there is no air leak in the blood pressure cuff and whether the pipe interface connected to the blood pressure is leaking. The NIBP calibration function is required. The standard deviation of the pressure tested at the factory is within eight millimeters of mercury.
